Star Wars Rebels Season 4 Trailer

I am more excited to see this 4th, and last, season of Rebels more than I am to see The Last Jedi. For those who have not ventured into the animated world of Star Wars, Rebels is a treat. As a matter of fact we have the wonderful animated Clone Wars series to thank for the acquisition and continuation of the Star Wars saga.

Although much smaller in scope, Rebels has that unique Star Wars flavor that I thoroughly enjoy. This last season will be pretty dark, and more grown up than one would expect from a show that airs on Disney XD. While I no longer have the ability to access the show via the Disney site for free, I plan on purchasing the entire season, like I did the last, on Google Play.

Batman: Gotham by Gaslight ~ Sneak Peek

When DC’s Elseworlds concept was first introduced, it felt like an upscale version of Marvel’s What-If comics. I was all aboard for anything that took my favorite heroes and put them in different settings. THIS next DC animated release has me very excited and I will be pre-ordering it ASAP.

Tonight: Ghostbusters 👻

In 1984, I was 14, and I can remember going to the drive-in to see this with my Dad. While I cannot recall specifics of the evening, I know that we had a great time. I was very familiar with Murray & Akroyd even though I had only watched SNL on a few occasions while they were members of the cast. As for Ramis & Moranis… I was all about those two, since I was an SC-TV fan by this point. I am a still a little bummed that John Candy couldn’t be a part of the production, but it all worked out in the end. With the group being rounded out with an anchor who represented the everyday guy being thrust into the madness of busting ghosts, Ernie Hudson was a perfect addition to the team. I still haven’t watched the newest Ghostbusters film, for no other reason than I just haven’t gotten around to it. I will, eventually ☺👍🏽

Disney’s New DuckTales Quacks Me Up!

DuckTales. This is something that I watched when I was 17. Yep. The stories were entertaining, and I enjoyed the classic Disney animation style. Yet, I am not here to talk about the past. No. I am here to praise the brand new series! The first episode (posted above) is available on YouTube for free. It has convinced Mrs. Multiverse, and myself, that we need to purchase the season on Google Play.

The new art style is inspired, the characters are multidimensional, and the story is amazing.

But don’t take my word for it 😉
