LAST MAN ON EARTH: Vincent Price (1964)

This is a film classic, and I cannot believe that it is in the Public Domain. It is one of my favorite Vincent Price roles. He carries the whole film since, as the title states, he is the Last Man on Earth.

Vincent plays the lone survivor of a global epidemic. He battles a race of zombie vampires in an adaptation of Richard Matheson’s “I Am Legend.”

It was filmed in Rome, Italy, and was released theatrically in the United States by American International Pictures and the UK in 1966. In the 1980s, the film fell into the public domain. In 2005, MGM Home Video released a digitally remastered version of the film on DVD.

If you haven’t seen this movie yet, grab a chair and some popcorn while stream it to your nearest screen. Oh, and make sure you sharpen some stakes, have some light sources charged up, and board up your doors & windows.

Some of my information comes from Google and Wikipedia.

Star Wars Rebels: Spotlight Hera

This week’s episode Star Wars Rebels is up on Disney😄’s App and Website. While it is still a character balance centered around Ezra, this one focuses on Hera. We learn a bit more about her past, and even a nugget about Chopper. We also learn that Thrawn is everything we wanted him to be, and More.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Trailer #2

My obligatory re-post of something that has already been seen over a quarter of a million times. It’s not even 0630 hours here on the West Coast. Impressive numbers. I will be contributing a chunk of those growing stats. There are some huge, to me, reveals in this trailer, so watch with that in mind. The scope of this film has been set and it will be epic.

What do I take away after the first viewing of this? Hope.

Supergirl is now even More Super

Superman is a perfect addition to this 2nd season of Supergirl.

Tonight’s season opener was a great ride and I feel like we have much to look forward to with this show. It had some low and many high moments on CBS, but we watched on. I really am excited about another light hearted show to watch during the week,  along with the Flash.

Go Nagai’s Mazinger Z: Dynamic Super Battle Robots | AniMonday

While I am not familiar with all of the robots, two of them are new to me, I love some animated giant robot on Kaiju action. This has made Monday a bit more bearable. I may have to make every Monday an AniMonday.

  1. Mazinger Z
  2. Great Mazinger
  3. Jeeg
  4. Govarian
  5. God Mazinger
  6. Grendizer
  7. Shin Getta
  8. Mazinkaizer

Higher Res: Marvel’s new Animated Spider-Man

Spider-Man is getting back to his roots in a new animated TV series.

"Spider-Man is the biggest action hero in the world. He is an iconic
character whose duality makes him both relatable and aspirational for
the Disney XD audience," says  Marc Buhaj, senior vice president,
programming and general manager for Disney XD. He promises "a fresh
take on a beloved classic that will engage both new and existing Spidey
fans with its compelling drama, exciting action and the signature sense
of comedy."

New Animated Hulk movie coming this Fall (2016): Hulk: Where Monsters Dwell

I just heard about this animated movie this morning. It’s supposed to be released this month and there is absolutely NOTHING on it. Just a small snipit on about it.

For fans of the meanest and greenest super hero in the Marvel universe,
Hulk gets his very own animated feature, "Marvel's Hulk: Where Monsters Dwell"!
Hulk teams up with Dr. Strange and the Howling Commandos to explore some of the
uncharted corners of the Marvel universe.

an INCREDIBLE HULK fan web site

Marvel_animationHulk: Where Monsters Dwell was announced by Marvel Animation for a Fall release last weekend at San Diego Comic-Con. No sneak peeks or plot revelations but who cares, it is more Hulk to fill the gap until Thor Ragnarok next year. With the Hulk being “killed” in the recent Civil War story I will take any real Hulk (not name Cho) that I can get. I am hopeful that they story will be well done – consider me anxious. The story will include Doc Strange which undoubtedly will be used to build up the hype for the Doctor Strange movie in November.
